Be ready when someone asks how you protect your information.

Most organizations meet this subject through a form rather than a regulation: a cyber-insurance renewal, a customer security questionnaire, a contract clause, a grant condition, or a board member asking whether the basics are covered. We help you understand what applies to you, improve where it matters and document it as you go.

The gap is usually documentation, not practice.

Most organizations we meet are doing more right than they can prove. Controls exist, but the record showing they have been operating consistently does not — so a questionnaire, renewal or assessment turns into weeks of reconstruction.

The requests arrive from several directions at once: insurers, enterprise customers, regulators such as HIPAA for healthcare organizations, and the terms attached to particular contracts or grants. The underlying ask is the same one each time. Show us how you protect information and manage risk.

The formal term for preparing to answer that well is compliance readiness. It is ongoing work rather than a project with an end date.

How we support security and compliance requirements

Which of these apply, and how far each one goes, is set by the engagement we agree and by how much of the work your team wants to keep in-house.

  • Working out what applies

Establish which requirements genuinely apply to your organization, and translate them into specific technical and procedural work — so effort goes where it is actually needed.

  • Finding the gaps

Compare your environment against those requirements and produce a prioritized, realistic plan rather than an undifferentiated list of findings.

  • Documentation support

Policies and procedures that describe what your organization actually does, written to be usable rather than to fill a binder. Keeping them accurate depends on your team telling us when things change.

  • Evidence maintenance

Where included in the selected engagement, ongoing collection of the records assessments ask for, so evidence accumulates as a by-product of normal operations.

  • Recurring review

Continuous Security Posture Monitoring and Configuration & Security Drift Monitoring catch safeguards weakening between assessments, while correcting them is still inexpensive. Included with TechOne Pro.

  • Support when someone asks

Preparation and coordination when an assessor, insurer or enterprise customer comes asking, so you are organized rather than scrambling.

What this is — and is not

Readiness means preparation and ongoing support. We help you understand the requirements, close gaps, document your practices and keep evidence current.

It is not an audit, a legal opinion or a guarantee of compliance. We are not your regulator, your attorney or your independent assessor — certification and attestation come from an independent party, and no service provider can promise their outcome. Anyone who does is telling you something that is not true.

Reaching and staying ready also depends on your participation: decisions about how the business operates, and telling us when something changes, are things only your organization can do.

Frameworks we commonly support

  • HIPAA for healthcare and dental organizations
  • Cyber insurance technical requirements and renewal questionnaires
  • Customer and partner security questionnaires
  • NIST-aligned security frameworks
  • SOC 2 preparation for organizations pursuing attestation
  • Requirements attached to specific contracts or grant funding

We hold ourselves to it too

Intech Computer Solutions is SOC 2 Type II independently audited. That means our own security controls have been examined over a period of time, not at a single convenient moment.

It also means the documentation and evidence discipline we ask of clients is work we do ourselves.

What clients say about working with Intech

Common questions

Can you guarantee we pass an audit?

No, and neither can anyone else. Assessment outcomes are determined by independent assessors. What we can do is make sure your environment, documentation and evidence are in order well before one arrives.

Where should we start?

With a gap assessment against the requirements that actually apply to you. Most organizations discover the technical work is smaller than expected and the documentation work is larger.

How long does it take?

It depends on your starting point and which framework is involved. The honest answer is that readiness is ongoing rather than a project with an end date — the goal is to make it routine.

Is this included in TechOne?

Compliance-readiness guidance is included with TechOne Pro and TechOne AI. Organizations with heavier or more specific requirements may need additional scoped work on top, and we scope that separately and transparently.
