Support for organizations that cannot simply be unavailable.
Municipalities, townships and public safety agencies deliver services people rely on, under public scrutiny, usually with one or two people covering technology for the entire organization. We provide the depth behind them.
Constrained resources, elevated expectations.
Public sector organizations face the same technology risks as private ones with materially less capacity to absorb them. Budgets are set publicly and in advance, procurement takes time, and one IT generalist frequently supports everything from utility billing to public safety systems.
The consequences of disruption are also more visible. When a municipal system is unavailable, residents cannot pay a bill, staff cannot process a permit and the outage becomes a matter of public record — which is a different kind of pressure from a private company having a bad week.
What matters in the public sector
System availability
Systems residents and staff depend on kept running, with monitoring that surfaces problems before they interrupt services.
Security under constraint
24×7 monitoring and threat detection as a service, providing capability that is not realistically staffable in-house at this size.
Continuity planning
Recovery designed around the records and systems that have to survive an incident, including how the organization keeps operating while restoration is under way.
Public records and retention
Retention and access handled so the technology supports your public records obligations rather than complicating them. What those obligations require is a determination for your organization and its legal counsel.
Grant and funding documentation
Cybersecurity and modernization funding usually comes with conditions attached. We help produce the technical detail and documentation an application or a subsequent review asks for.
Predictable budgeting
Per-user pricing and planned refresh cycles that fit annual budget approval rather than emergency appropriations.
Public safety changes the requirements
Systems supporting dispatch, records and field operations carry availability and security requirements well beyond general administrative IT, and they often come with their own state and federal obligations.
We scope that work specifically rather than treating it as ordinary office support, and we are clear about which requirements we can address directly and which involve your system vendors.
Working alongside an internal IT resource
Many public bodies have one person carrying technology for the whole organization. Fully managed support is usually the cleaner answer at that size, because it removes the single point of failure rather than adding to it — but where an internal role is staying in place, we will talk through how the responsibilities divide before anything is agreed.

Common questions
Can you work within public procurement requirements?
Yes. We are accustomed to formal procurement, budget cycles and the documentation public bodies need in order to approve and evidence a purchase.
Can you support our existing IT staff rather than replace them?
We can discuss it. Most public bodies we work with are better served by fully managed support, because it provides depth that one person cannot cover alone. Where an internal role is staying, we agree who owns what before starting.
Do you support CJIS or other regulated systems?
We can help implement and maintain relevant technical safeguards and work to your agency's requirements. What we cannot do is certify you or determine your compliance — that rests with your agency and the authorities overseeing it. Requirements also vary by system, so we are specific during scoping about where our responsibilities end and a system vendor's begin.
