Security that is managed, monitored and actually maintained.

Buying security tools is straightforward. Keeping them configured correctly, watched continuously and acted on quickly is the part that determines whether they help. That is the work we take on.

Most organizations are not under-tooled. They are under-managed.

We regularly find environments with capable security products already in place, licensed and paid for, running with default settings, generating alerts nobody reviews.

Attackers do not need a sophisticated exploit when an unmonitored alert, an unpatched system or a reused password is available. Managed security helps close those gaps, watches for them reopening, and makes it clear who owns the follow-up.

What managed cybersecurity covers

Tools are the easy part. Running them is the service.

A security product does its job on the day it is installed. What decides whether it still helps a year later is whether someone is reviewing what it reports, adjusting it as your environment changes, and following up on what it finds.

That is the difference between owning security software and having security managed: the reviewing, the responding and the improving continue after the purchase.

Security works best in layers.

No single control stops everything. Effective security assumes some layers will fail and makes sure others are waiting behind them.

That means protecting identity, endpoints, email and network together, with monitoring across them. Recoverable backup is the layer that matters if something still gets through — it is a separate service, sized to what your organization needs.

Where TechOne Pro fits

Managed cybersecurity is part of every TechOne level. TechOne Pro adds the recurring review layer: regularly checking security settings against recommended practice, watching for changes that move the environment away from how it was set up, and turning what it finds into work that gets tracked and corrected.

If you want ongoing verification rather than monitoring alone — or you are being asked security questions by customers or insurers — TechOne Pro is the stronger fit.

Security without the fear pitch

We will tell you plainly what your risks are and what addressing them costs. We will not manufacture urgency, quote scary statistics about businesses that close after a breach, or push spending that is not justified by your actual exposure.

Good security decisions come from a clear picture of your environment, not from being frightened into them.

Common questions

Does monitoring really run 24×7?

Yes. Monitoring, security operations and threat detection are continuous. Our help desk operates 8×5 with after-hours emergency assistance — those are two different things and we are careful not to blur them.

We already have antivirus. Is that enough?

It is one layer of several. Traditional antivirus catches known threats but not credential theft, phishing, misconfiguration or attacks that use legitimate tools. Detection and response covers what signature-based protection cannot.

Do you help with cyber insurance requirements?

Yes. Insurers now ask specific technical questions — multifactor authentication, endpoint detection, backup practices, access controls. We help you meet those requirements and document that you have.

What happens if we are attacked?

Detection triggers investigation and containment, and we work through recovery with you. We will not promise a specific response time here — what we commit to is that someone is watching and that there is a defined process rather than improvisation.
