Technology support that keeps the focus on your mission.
Nonprofits run on the same technology as everyone else, with less of it and fewer people to look after it. We provide the ongoing support, management and security that would otherwise fall to whoever on staff is most comfortable with computers. Day-to-day work is delivered remotely, so we support organizations wherever they operate; routine on-site coverage is concentrated across Northeast Ohio.
Technology is everybody's job and nobody's role.
In most nonprofits, IT is not a position. It is something absorbed by an operations manager, a finance lead, or the staff member who once set up the office printer — on top of the work they were actually hired to do.
That works until it does not. Accounts stay active after someone leaves, backups go unverified, laptops fall behind on updates, and nobody is in a position to say whether the donor and constituent data you hold is genuinely protected.
Boards and funders are also asking sharper questions about how information is safeguarded, and those answers depend on work done well before the question arrives.
What matters most for nonprofit organizations
A real help desk for your staff
Somewhere for your team to take a problem that is not a colleague's desk. Unlimited help-desk support during business hours, so technology questions stop competing with program work.
Microsoft 365 managed properly
Accounts, email, file sharing and the security settings behind them administered as part of the service, rather than configured once and left alone.
Protection for the data you hold
Donor, constituent and financial records carry real obligations. Managed security, email and identity protection, and staff awareness training are part of every level of service.
Staff and volunteer turnover
Joiners, leavers and volunteers handled as a routine process, so access is granted deliberately and removed promptly instead of accumulating quietly.
Recovery you can count on
Backup and continuity options with recovery planning, so an outage or a mistake does not put records nobody can recreate at risk.
Guidance for planning and budgeting
A straight answer about what needs replacing, what can wait, and what a decision will cost — useful when equipment is funded on a cycle that is set well in advance.
Built for organizations without an IT department
A nonprofit does not need less capability than a business of the same size. It needs the same capability without hiring for it.
TechOne provides the support, management, security and planning as one service, so the responsibility sits somewhere definite and your staff can get on with the work they are there to do.
Working within a fixed budget and a funding cycle
Nonprofit spending is committed in advance and frequently restricted in how it can be used, which makes unplanned technology costs particularly disruptive.
Ongoing support is priced per user on a predictable monthly basis. Equipment, project work and software licensing are identified separately, so a board or a finance committee can see what each part of the budget covers rather than approving a single number.
Answering the questions funders and boards now ask
Grant applications, insurance renewals and board risk reviews increasingly include questions about how data is protected and what happens if systems become unavailable.
TechOne Pro adds the recurring review layer that makes those questions answerable: regularly checking security settings against recommended practice, watching for configuration that drifts away from how things were set up, and turning what it finds into work that gets tracked and corrected.

Common questions
We are a small organization. Are we too small to work with you?
Almost certainly not. TechOne is a particularly strong fit for organizations with roughly 10 to 50 users, and the right starting point is a conversation about what you have and what is causing problems — not a headcount.
Do you support our donor or case management system?
We support the environment those systems depend on — the accounts and identities that sign into them, the devices they run on, the network, the connectivity and the security around all of it — and we coordinate with your software vendor when something needs their involvement. We do not claim application-level expertise in specific nonprofit platforms unless we genuinely have it in your case.
Can you work with our volunteers as well as our staff?
Yes. Volunteers are usually the harder part, because people come and go more often and frequently use their own devices. We set up how accounts and access are granted and removed so it happens as a matter of routine rather than being remembered later.
Who handles Microsoft 365 licensing for a nonprofit?
Administration and support for Microsoft 365 are included in TechOne. The subscription licenses themselves are priced separately, and eligibility and pricing for your organization are confirmed in your proposal.
