Technology support built around keeping production running.

In manufacturing, an IT problem is a production problem. We support the office systems, the plant network and the infrastructure your production equipment depends on. Day-to-day management and support are delivered remotely, so we work with manufacturers wherever they operate; Northeast Ohio is where our routine on-site coverage is concentrated, and planned travel for hands-on needs elsewhere is evaluated case by case.

The plant floor and the office run on different clocks.

Office technology gets refreshed on a cycle. Production equipment stays until it fails, which routinely means machines controlled by systems far older than anything else on the network, running software that cannot be patched and must not be interrupted.

Add shared workstations, shift work outside standard business hours, and physical environments that are hard on equipment, and you have a set of constraints most generic IT support is not built around.

What matters most in manufacturing environments

Where we stop and your equipment vendor starts

We manage the IT environment around your production systems: the network they sit on, the servers and workstations that talk to them, the connectivity, the identities and the security controls surrounding all of it.

We do not program or maintain PLCs, industrial control systems, production machinery, or the ERP and MES applications themselves. That work belongs with your equipment manufacturers, automation specialists and application vendors — and coordinating with them is a normal part of what we do, whether that is arranging access for a machine vendor or making sure a controller upgrade does not break something else.

Drawing that line clearly matters more in manufacturing than almost anywhere else, because the gap between the two is where problems tend to sit unowned.

Segmentation is often one of the highest-value improvements

The most common finding in manufacturing environments is a flat network — production equipment, office computers and guest devices all able to reach each other.

Separating them limits how far a problem can travel. It is unglamorous and it does not require replacing equipment you depend on, which is why it is frequently the improvement with the best return. Whether it is the right first move for your plant depends on what an assessment finds.

Where TechOne Pro fits for manufacturers

Manufacturers tend to reach a point where general support is not enough: a customer sends a security questionnaire, an insurer asks harder renewal questions, or the business simply wants to know its risk is being reviewed rather than assumed.

TechOne Pro adds that recurring review — regular checks of security settings, watching for configuration that drifts away from how the environment was designed, and turning the findings into work that actually gets done.

What clients say about working with Intech

Common questions

Can you support equipment running old operating systems?

Yes. Replacing a machine controller because its operating system is unsupported is rarely realistic. The approach is to isolate those systems, control what can reach them, and monitor them closely.

Do you provide support outside standard business hours?

Our help desk is unlimited 8×5 with after-hours emergency assistance, and monitoring and security operations run 24×7. For operations running extended shifts we discuss coverage specifically during a technology review.

Do you support specific ERP or MES platforms?

We support the infrastructure, connectivity, security and endpoints those systems depend on, and we coordinate with your application vendor. We do not claim application-level expertise in specific platforms unless we genuinely have it in your case.

Do you work on our production equipment or controls?

No. PLCs, industrial controls and production machinery stay with your equipment and automation vendors. Our responsibility is the IT environment around them — the network, servers, endpoints, connectivity and security — and coordinating with those vendors when their work touches ours.

Let's look at what would stop your line.
